Visitors to Zion often ask how they can become members of our church.
If you’re considering becoming a member, that’s wonderful! We would be honored to have you make Zion your church home.
At Zion, we believe that church membership is both meaningful and important. It is a public expression of your commitment to Christ and your agreement with what we believe, teach, and confess according to God’s Word. It also reflects your desire to be actively involved in the Lord’s work through our congregation.
As members of Zion, we encourage one another to:
- Worship regularly.
- Grow in faith through Bible study and prayer.
- Use the gifts, talents, and blessings God has given us to care for and serve others.
- Share the forgiving love of Jesus Christ with those around us.
Becoming a member of Zion is something to approach prayerfully, and we’d be happy to walk alongside you through the process. Our pastor, as well as any member of our congregation, would be glad to answer your questions, visit with you, or tell you more about what membership means.
